I am unaware to the meaning behind the artist work as i could not locate his statement. For me I find his work reminiscent of white washed walls and architectural forms.

I think this work might interest Steve and Laura because of the stone like forms and architectural references.

I was unable to locate a statement from the artist so i am unsure of what meaning or concept is behind his work. However I the think the work is interesting to look at. It is very rustic. The stone like quality looks weathered and aged yet they are ceramic forms.

I think this work would be useful to Laura because the textures and forms the art creates is quite similar to her work.

The artist uses techniques such as casting, throwing and printing. The artist predominantly casts non-functional chairs in porcelain. Her work is interesting to view and contemplate on.

The artist uses molds in her making process. This is common among many in our group.

The artist uses mixed media to create her work. Although I don't particularly enjoy her work aesthetically, I do appreciate the ideas that led to their creation. The work is an embodiment of tension and fragility in the human condition.

I think Saoirse and Meave might be interested in this artist. Especially her statement, its well worth a read.

I could not locate the artist statement however I found myself draw to the work. It is very organic in texture and imagery. I found myself conjuring images of lakes and forestry. I personally find the pieces to be refreshing and natural.

I think Meave and Laura might find this work interesting because of the textures created.

I enjoy how the artists creates aesthetically beautiful work using found objects. The artist conveys her themes of capitalism, how household objects have become disposable and that the garbage left behind signifies how much money we spend and waste. By using found objects she creates sentimental and sweet aesthetic work, bringing meaning back to what was once garbage.

I think Laura might find this artist useful because of the use of decals.

My current body of work is an exploration that combines a metaphorical reference to human and animal characteristics and the fantasy of transforming into something more. I see my work as a narrative. I intend for my work to incorporate individual tales about a single protagonist morphing and mutating to revolutionise beyond human recognition. This is born out of a desire on the part of the protagonist to be stronger, faster and to have the ability to fly or simply to achieve what my character believes to be beautiful. The work often reflects my own desires. They are desires I wish to over-emphasize or exaggerate in the work. The process of creating the work aids me in my continual quest for self-discovery.
